SCDS Flag Football started their season with a shutout with a 20-0 win over Woodville-Tompkins. Starting quarterback, Sofia Pablo, threw 2 touchdowns, and rushed 1. The defense was locked down, allowing zero points with one interception by Parker Hall.  Later on in the week, SCDS Flag Football also won against Jenkins 21-6.  Senior “QB1”, Sofia Pablo had 154 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 3 passing extra points, and 17 yards rushing.  Junior Wide receiver Parker Hall had 6 catches, 54 yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 2 receiving extra points, and 5 defensive “tackles.”  Senior Hayden Anderson had 4 catches, 39 passing yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Senior Harper Judleson had 4 catches, 40 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.  Senior Anna Shelton had 3 defensive sacks.  The past two years seasons taught the returning players the ins and outs of the growing sport and the team is very excited for what the future holds for them.  Alongside the stellar on the field performance, the student section attendance was off the charts!  Keep coming and cheering on your beloved Lady Hornets!
