Your Next Spring/Summer Read: Happy Place

The wind has been so bad on campus these last few weeks that the quad is sometimes off-limits. I guess this is just a warning for walking on the quad because you could go full Mary Poppins and get blown away. Beware.

In these last few weeks, Christine Hall has been taking her annual photos every Tuesday, but nobody really cares about that, just the Zaxbys. I hope everyone enjoyed their free nibbler for the wait.

There was also an incident in Minus a few weeks ago as an AP LIT class got locked in their classroom. The brand new building decided to make Minus the students permanent home. Senior Sam Bueno was in the middle of the incident as he was the last person to walk through the door before it shut he and his pupils inside. I decided to take a closer look and ask Sam what really happened, so here is the point of view of the culprit himself…

During class, Sam went to fill up his water bottle, but as he returned the door wouldn’t close all the way. This resulted in Sam using some extra force to get the door shut leading him to realize now it wouldn’t open. A few moments later, students who were slightly late to the class could not get in. Colonel Larossa and a few other people on Country Day’s maintenance team were called to save the day. Various techniques were used to try and get the door open from the outside, but none of them were successful.
