Senior and captain, Anna Claire Davis is nearing the end of her high school soccer career, but remains confident and a crucial leader on the field. When asked how she felt about nearing her final season she said, “I am so glad we have entered the state playoffs, and have created such an amazing culture and chemistry among our team. I feel like we are an attacking threat to all of our opponents, and hopefully, with a little hard work, we can make it far and perhaps even win state! I will miss everyone next year, but do not doubt that the team’s chemistry and skill will continue to flourish.” Anna Claire, or “Daveeee” as called by her teammates, plays forward and has an attacking role on the field. Davis is one of the leading goal scorers and enjoys using her head to bang the ball into the back of the net. Moving forward, Davis plans to try out for the club soccer team at her new school, Georgia Tech. Dave will be missed by her teammates on the soccer field but this hornet will be an even bigger threat on the Georgia Tech club soccer team as a yellow jacket.
