Mary Duvall Sumner is a junior in high school and currently on her second year of high school tennis. She plays first doubles on Varsity Girls Tennis with senior, Lilla Brennan. Last year, Lilla and Mary Duvall went undefeated as they played second doubles. They helped take the girls team to state where they fought hard and ultimately placed second. Mary Duvall has been taking lessons since around third grade. She says “I enjoy and love tennis because it gives me something to look forward to after school, and it is not very stressful.”
