“Melt My Eyez, See Your Future” is the 5th studio album by Denzel Curry. Known for his ability to rap, his production, and insane flows on songs, Denzel is full of talent. He first gained major mainstream popularity by appearing in the 2016 XXL freshman cypher. This youtube video by popular music magazine XXL showed Denzel and others doing freestyles over a beat, live. This kickstarted many artists’ mainstream careers, especially Denzel’s. 

“Melt My Eyez, See Your Future” brings all of Denzel’s best qualities to light. His rapping was impeccable as usual, but what really caught my attention was the overall production of the project. It was spacey, yet crisp at the same time. You can tell he’s refined his sound and the album is great. The lead single “Walkin”, left many, including me, excited for the album. And he didn’t disappoint.
