With the last day of school for seniors just around the corner, and graduation under a month away, the senioritis is setting in. It feels like every morning we have to text Ms. Patton to use our privs, and we’ve probably gone through 4 or 5 sign-out sheets by now because any reason to leave school is a good one. As our classwork dwindles and shifts into kite-flying, post-lunch classes are rarely full. The senioritis really kicks in when tennis playoffs roll around (because we’d all rather watch tennis than be in class). You definitely know you’re a senior when in a class meeting, the main announcement from Ms. Patton is not to get arrested at grad bash. Our days mostly consist of attempting to study for AP exams and putting calendar reminders in for all the graduation parties (and hopefully a nap somewhere in the middle). So as we enter the final days of our time here at Country Day, let’s end 2024 on a good note!
