Following the momentum from their second place finish in last year’s state championship, your Hornet Clay Target Team is ready to rock and roll. Led by the trio of captains and national champions, Nathan Porter, Owen Haas, and James Daters, the hornets are looking like early contenders for the state championship in November. The team may even welcome an appearance from national champion John Neely, if he recovers from his so-called “shoulder injury.” Other athletes looking to make an impact this year for the squad include Pericles “Perc” Lelos, and Jackson “Mondy” Mondy. We also welcome a plethora of freshmen to the team including the likes of the one and only, Andrew “Pickles” Nicholson. The Hornets have put together a super team full of sharpshooters and are ready to dominate the Georgia Independent School Organization.
