What a great start to the season for the hornets! So far our cross country teams have had two meets. Both the girls and boys varsity team took home first place at their very first meet this season against Savannah Christian. John Ryan took 1st place overall in the boys meet while Sarah Jane Schulze took home 3rd. In their most recent meet at the Frazier-Hite Invitational the girls team took 2nd place and the boys team took 3rd. Congratulations to our girls who got in the top ten for this meet, Sarah Jane Schulze took 3rd and Gracie Daters took 10th. Another congratulations to our boys who got in the top ten, John Ryan who took 2nd and Hawkeye Hrones who took 7th. This season looks very promising and according to the cross country coach, “Both teams have the talent to win Region this year.”
