The Lady hornets have dominated their competition this year, finishing with a 13-2 record. The girls started training in January and have been working hard to be such a strong force. After a monumental victory against Calvary Day School, the Lady Hornets closed the season out by celebrating seniors Fiona Wilson, Gracie Daters, and Lawler White who will be deeply missed next year. Ranked 4th in the state of Georgia for region 3A, the Hornets mercy ruled (10-0) Harlem High School in the first round of state playoffs, moving on to the sweet sixteen. On Monday, April 17th, the team traveled 4 hours to match up against Pike County, pulling away with a great 2-1 win. Progressing to the elite 8, the hornets took another long bus ride to Oconee County (#1 team in GA 3A), where their season came to an unfortunate end. The team wants to thank everyone who has come out and supported them. Go hornets!
