Game: Oxygen Not Included

Thoughts: Personally, this game was a bit too complicated for my tastes. It centers around growing a colony buried deep inside an alien planet, and while the environment, choices, and base customization is certainly very enjoyable, the more sophisticated parts often left me at a loss. Growing good food and taking care of animals proved to be a bit of an enigma, with all their special requirements, and while the game sometimes provided tips and tricks, I frequently felt as though I was a toddler playing in a sandbox, trying to build something I’d never seen before. While I still did like the game, it was difficult to get invested while being unsure of how to progress.
