Your’s Truly, love the Lady Hornets

Country Day’s favorite team has had an amazing start to the season. As of right now, the team is 17-3, and the first number is only rising. Strong wins in the region against Liberty County, Johnson, and Beach have allowed the team to secure the 2nd spot in the region, just trailing behind rival, Calvary Day school. Although losing the first time against Calvary, the team came back with an outstanding overtime victory, beating the Cavaliers 70–66. The Seniors – Kat Johnson, Fiona Wilson, Julia McGoldrick, and Lawler White will be honored on February 10 against Beach High School. In hopes of taking the region title for the third year in a row, the team works hard while still having a good time on the court. We hope to see all of our fans on the sidelines for our remaining games this season, especially going into the end of the regular season and into the region playoffs!
