The time of year has come again for the upper school to say goodbye to yet another Senior Class. This year as we congratulate the class of 2022 on their accomplishments in our school, we applaud them for what they will achieve in their college experience and from it. The Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors will say goodbye to the 95 seniors they have grown to admire for the last couple of years. This group of young men and women have taught us the importance of hard work, friendship, and kindness, all values which we will carry with us throughout our lives.
On April 29, 2022, the upper school will watch the seniors celebrate their last day of high school at Savannah Country Day. While they have fun playing on the waterslide, this will be the last time that this group of people will attend school together again. Many will move on to go to the same college, live in the same city, or work together, but they will never be students together again. Finally, on May 21, 2022, parents, siblings, and friends will watch as the seniors make their way to the stage to celebrate their graduation, a day that will be filled with tears and joy. From the whole upper school, and Savannah Country Day community, we thank you, Seniors, for being amazing role models. It is with heavy hearts that we congratulate you on your graduation from the Savannah Country Day School.
